This one hurts, fellas. This one hurts a lot. For the last two years Katy Perry has sort of stunk. Her music stinks and her personality is even worse. I don’t like to blame extraneous factors contributing to her downfall, but it was the hair. Once her locks were chopped so was she.
But I like to remember her for her years of service she put in before she went south. For nearly a decade she was THE celebrity popstar. Every boy from 10-20 knew who she was and, ummm… what she had. The California Gurls music video might as well have been porn for a 13 year old. Her Victoria’s Secret fashion show was watched at least once a day for an entire year.
Every male between 20-30 would like to offer a sincere thanks to KP for her service. She may not have went out on top, but her prime could go to-to-toe with just about anyone. Think of her as we raise her jersey into the rafters.
